1. General Policy for Digital Content
Due to the digital nature of our educational content, including live webinars, recorded sessions, and downloadable materials, all sales are generally final and non-refundable once access has been granted or the webinar has commenced. This policy is in place because:
- Digital content can be instantly consumed or downloaded
- Webinar recordings are made available to all registered participants
- Course materials and certificates are immediately accessible upon payment
- Our expert speakers and content creation involve significant costs
2. Exceptions for Live Webinars
Refunds for live webinars may be considered under the following specific conditions:
- Pre-Event Cancellation: If you cancel your registration at least 7 days before the scheduled date of the live webinar, you may be eligible for a partial refund, subject to an administrative fee of 15% of the registration fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days before the event.
- Event Cancellation by Scan Academy: In the rare event that Scan Academy cancels a webinar due to unforeseen circumstances (technical issues, speaker unavailability, etc.), registered participants will receive a full refund of their registration fee. We will notify all registered participants via email as soon as possible and may offer alternative dates or credits.
- Technical Issues: If you experience significant technical issues preventing your access to a live webinar, and these issues are verified to be on our end, you may be eligible for a full refund or credit towards a future event. Please contact our support team immediately if you encounter such problems.
- Duplicate Registration: If you accidentally register for the same webinar multiple times, we will provide a full refund for the duplicate registrations upon verification.
3. No-Show Policy
Failure to attend a live webinar without prior cancellation will be considered a "no-show," and no refund will be issued. However, registered participants will still receive access to the webinar recording and any associated materials, ensuring you get value from your registration even if you cannot attend live.
4. How to Request a Refund
All refund requests must be submitted in writing and include the following information:
- Your full name and email address used for registration
- Event name and scheduled date
- Order ID or transaction reference number
- Reason for refund request
- Supporting documentation (if applicable)
